Craig Pruden February 5 2021

Obituary
(Peter) Craig Pruden
1949 – 2021
On February 5, 2021, at the age of 71 years, Craig ended his long-standing battle with multiple significant health ailments. He will be missed.
Craig was predeceased by his adoring parents, Ken and Audrey Pruden, and has left many to mourn his passing. Among these are his loving wife, Wendy; his children, Marla (Jason), Shane (Vickie), Ryan and Amanda; as well as his sister, Cathy and her children, Christie and Barry; his step-children, Chris (Shannon), Jen (Matt), Sara (Jim), and Heather (Chuck); his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has created life and memories.
A teacher, hairstylist, landlord, artist, property and business owner, Craig liked to bring together the objective and creative parts of his mind. He knew how to ask for help, find deals and utilize his own talents, of which he had many.
An ideal day for Craig could include a view of Lake Winnipeg (especially with a sunset), the sounds of old country music, the taste of butterscotch ripple ice cream, the smell of his cigar and the chill of an ice cube kissing his lips as he sipped a rum and coke. May we all raise a glass and make a cheer to our own recollections of what made Craig special.
At Craig’s request, there will be no public service but people are welcome to send condolences through Gilbart Funeral Home website and/or to any of Craig’s closest family or associates.
Condolences may be left on his tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com.
