BUCKMAN Craig Anthony ~ Age 64 of Tiverton passed away on October 19,2021.Born in Digby , he was a son of the late Delbert and Nancy (Perry) Buckman. Craig is survived by his brother Barry of Tiverton, Uncle Leland of Digby, Aunt Kaye (Jim) Watt of Bedford, Aunt Barbara Perry of Freeport; several cousins. Craig graduated from Islands Consolidated School in Freeport and earned his B.Sc. at Dalhousie University in 1978. He worked at various positions as a laborer. Craig was very proud of his Island heritage and keenly interested in his family history. He was treasurer of Tiverton Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He also served a Treasures of Central Haven Cemetery Society and held offices with Tiverton and Central Grove Heritage Association. Craig was an avid reader and enjoyed various forms of music. A kind, gentle soul has departed this life yet his presence will live on in our memories and continue to be a source of strength and inspiration. A graveside service for family and close friends was held Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the Central Haven Cemetery, Central Grove, Digby County, NS.
