IN LOVING MEMORY
Corry Reid, 64, has passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, November 1, 2021. After losing his wife in 2018 and a 3-year battle with cancer, he is now reunited with his wife and no longer enduring pain.
He was a loving husband for 31 years to the love of his life, the late Mary Reid. He was a loving, hardworking father to Nolan Reid (Andrea), Matthew (Alison) Kerr, Benjamin Reid (Madelin), Brittany (Austin) Van Amerongen and Brooke Reid (Luc). He was the best, loving Grandpa to Kapri and Haven Van Amerongen, Oliver and Emmett Reid and Vaeda Calenda.
Born and raised in Guelph Ontario, he was the son of the late Ronald Reid and Mary Reid (Doyle). He was the brother of Cheryl Reid, Stephen Reid (Shelly), Stephanie (Mike) Chabot and the late Kim Draper and Lynn Patmore. He was the son-in-law to Antoinetta Visentin (Gatto) and was a brother-in-law. He was a great friend to Berry (Trudy) Holst and many more. He will be remembered by his aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and coworkers.
Corry worked for Loblaws Zehrs for over 20 years and painted houses for most of his life. He loved the game of golf and baseball. Every chance he could get, he would go play a round or watch the baseball games. He shared many stories throughout his life and cherished being around his family.
We take comfort in knowing that Dad is back with his beloved wife. Until we meet again. WE LOVE YOU.
