Obituary of Corrie Jongenotter
– passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in her 89th year, with her husband and her children by her side, at Hospice Quinte. Beloved and devoted wife of Andy Jongenotter. Cherished mother of Peter (Annette) Jongenotter, Diny (Dan) Meens, Harry (Cathy) Jongenotter, Connie (Charles) Doornbos, Tina (Elvis) Leonarduzzi, Edna (Bill) Barnum and Andrew (Donna) Jongenotter. Precious Oma to 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by granddaughter Katelyn Rose Meens. She is much loved by her family in the Netherlands and all the family and friends she has touched. The family will receive friends at Maranatha Church, 100 College St. West, Belleville, on Monday, November 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The Service will be held at Maranatha Church on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Those desiring to attend the visitation and/or the service are asked to preregister by emailing rsvp@steelefuneralhome.ca or by calling Steele Funeral Home at 613-968-2273 between 9 – 5 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel. Private Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations to Belleville Christian School, in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
