Conrad Joseph Griffith, 79, of Cambridge, Ontario, walked into God’s arms on May 4, 2021.
He was born in Berbice, Guyana, on August 30, 1941. Conrad graduated from Queen’s College, and specialized in Electronics and P.A. Systems. He successfully owned and operated Conrad’s Laser Cartridge Re-Manufacturing for over 14 years.
In addition to his successful business, Conrad was a skilled and talented lead vocalist and M.C. Conrad had a fiercely proud affiliation with the Queen’s College Alumni Association, and gave much of his resources, time, skill, and talent to the organization and their activities, for his alma mater.
Conrad is survived by his daughters Virginia and Vivienne (B.J.). He was a proud grandpa to his 6 grandchildren: Victor, Patricia, Kimberley, Nubia, Slade, and Kojacques. He also leaves his sister Dorrie, and his brother Leamon. His cheerful disposition and quick, easy smile will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends, fellow musicians, artistes, colleagues, and customers.
Visitation will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please register (RSVP) on-line or by calling the funeral home at 519-658-9366 to attend the visitation for Conrad. Masks and social distancing will be required. Conrad’s Celebration of Life will be lived streamed on May 21, 2021, at 11:00 am EST from Lounsbury Funeral Home.
