On Monday, December 13, 2021, Mr. Conrad Martineau of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at Wainwright Hospital, at the age of 83 years.
Con is survived by his loving family; his wife Louise Martineau of Wainwright; his children, Joanne Martineau of Edmonton, Alberta, Dean (Tracy) Martineau of Wainwright, Dwayne Martineau of Edmonton; grandchildren, Jackson (Erica Schoen) Heraid, Jayda Maciborski, Brendan (Amanda) Martineau, Rebecca Martineau; great grandchildren, Ethan and Dylan Maciborski;… Read More » siblings, Muriel Sikorski, Bill (Karen) Martineau, Jim (Twyla) Martineau, Ron Martineau, Delores (Doug) McMillan, Rhonda (Charlie) Weaselhead; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A private funeral mass for Con will be conducted Friday, December 17, 2021 from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright, Alberta at 1 :00 PM. Interment to follow at Wainwright Cemetery.
Following the interment, a public reception will be held at the Wainwright Elks Hall. Restriction Exemption program will be enforced. Mandatory masks are required as well as a valid QR code or negative rapid test taken within 72 hours in order to attend.
If so desired, the family suggests any memorial contributions made in Con’s name be made to the Wainwright Hospital Patient Comfort Fund or to the local charity of choice.
