Obituary of Cole Watson Price
The passing of Rev. Cole Watson Price, husband of Wanda (Murphy) Price of New Bandon, NB, occurred on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on June 27, 1945 in Priceville, NB, he was the son of the late Chester and Lydia (Stewart) Price.
Cole spent over 50 years as a minister with the United Pentecostal Church International: pastoring churches in New Brunswick and Maine; home missions works in Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Montreal, Quebec and Guelph, Ontario; foreign missions work in Leeward Islands of the Caribbean; served as Global Missions Director and North American Missions Director for the Atlantic District; and was Sunday School Secretary in the Maine District.
In addition to his loving wife of 50 years, Cole is survived by his daughter, Connie Savoy (Jason) of Guelph, ON; son, Coleman Price (Lorenda) of Upper Blackville; five grandchildren, Brittney (Kevin) Legacy, Brandon (Kristina) Price, Jacob, Benjamin and Jesse Savoy; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Long of Porter Cove, Queenie Price of Fredericton; brother, Preston Price of Priceville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Zelda Mooers; brothers, Samuel and Howard Price.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Due to current restrictions, a Graveside Funeral Service will be scheduled at a later date in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove. Remembrances may be made to the McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery and/or the Hospice House of Fredericton. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
