Claudia Bernice Bauder (nee Soucoup) age 94, passed away on
October 9th, 2021, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital in Fredericton, NB, with her son by her side. Born on
September 20th, 1927, in Moncton NB, she was a
daughter of the late William and Margaret (Doige)
Soucoup.
Claudia enjoyed quilting in her younger years and was an
excellent homemaker. You couldn’t have asked for a better
mother.
She will be missed by her children; Judy Dalton of
Bridgewater, NS, and Rick Doiron of Rusagonis, NB, grandchildren;
Jennifer Perin (Ivano), Heather Dalton, and Lisa Brooks (Robin) of
Midland, ON, great grandchildren; Maddie and Alex Brooks, and Bishop
Paquin, sister; Elsie McArdle of Moncton, as well as several cousins,
nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents, Claudia was predeceased by her
husband, Donald Bauder, ex-husband and friends, Al Doiron (Trudy),
children; Michael William, and Holly Anderson, brothers, and sisters;
Florence Wilson (Gordie), Gordon Soucoup (Anita), James Soucoup
(Kaye), Oscar Soucoup (Shirley), and Leonard Soucoup
(Mabel).
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of
Bishop’s Funeral Home, in Fredericton, NB. A memorial
service will be held at a later date. If you wish to make a donation
in Claudia’s name, please do so to the MS Society, or the
Heart and Stroke Foundation.
