It is with deep sadness that the family of Clarence Martin announce his sudden passing on June 26th, 2021 at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre at the age of 76.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Robert (Heather); Clyde: brothers Mike (Mary), Greg (Margie), Felix (Judy), Bill (Joy), Charles, Neil (Elaine); sisters: Clo, Mildred (John), Bridget (John), Loretta, Marian (Brian), Eileen (Eric), Karen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Beverley Martin, December 15, 2020, parents William & Mary Martin, father & mother-in-law George & Cerral (Fillatre) Tuff, brother David Martin, brother in-law Mike McCarthy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions his late wife’s (Beverley Martin) service did not take place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for both Clarence and Beverley on Saturday, July 3th, 2021 from the St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Baie Verte, NL at 1:00 pm with Father Camillus Ekedobe officiating to a maximum of 70 people. The Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 Government regulations if you wish to attend the Funeral Mass, please pre-register by emailing laura@fillatres.nf.net or calling Fillatre’s Funeral Home 709-785-2510.
