Clarence Carlyle Horsman of
Moncton New Brunswick passed away peacefully at Forest Dale Home on
October 26, 2021 at the age of 72.
Left to cherish his memories
are his loving wife of 40 years, Darlene Horsman; Son Mike (Charlene)
Horsman; Grandson James (Jimmy) Horsman; Daughter Cassandra Horsman
(Ty Killeen); Sister Audrey Steeves; As well as several nieces,
nephew’s, extended family and friends.
Clarence was predeceased by his
parents Jasper Vernon and Ida May (Lewis) Horsman; His Brother Drury;
His sister Betty (Horsman) Hopper; brother in-law Roy Herbert Hopper;
brother-in-law Ronald King Steeves; Father-in-law Karl Fred Nelson;
Mother-in-law Arletta (Woodworth) Nelson.
Clarence worked at CN for over
28 years where he was known as CC. He then went to work for a few
different trucking companies before retiring in 2018. He was an avid
lover of bluegrass music, an accomplished banjo player and
multi-instrumentalist. He also had a great fondness for
restoring two cylinder John Deere tractors and owned many throughout
his life. When he wasn’t working in the garage or making
hay, you could be sure to find him at bluegrass festivals or picking
parlours. Whether it was on a stage or in the kitchen with
friends and family, his performances on any instrument always had you
taping your toe and left you smiling.
In keeping with
Clarence’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or
funeral service. Due to the pandemic a celebration of life will be
held at a later date when the whole family is able to get
together.
Arrangements have been
entrusted to the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
