Passed away peacefully at 94 years of age on Tuesday April 13, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Harkins). Cherished father of Sharon and husband Chris Amlin, Michael and wife Denise Bastien and Rosemary Bastien. Loving grandfather of Jason (Emily), Alysha (David), Elizabeth, Nathaniel (Jessica) and Gregory (Ali). Cherished great-grandfather of Preston, Anthony, Chase, Tana, Grayson, Arthur and Hugo. Survived by his loving sisters Annette Dupuis, Emily Desrosier and many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Lynn & Andrew Saatchi. Predeceased by his siblings Ray, Yvonne and John.
Avid golfer at Kingsville Golf and Country Club for over 40 years, where he will be missed by his golfing buddy John Petro. In Clare’s honour, Kingsville Golf and Country Club’s flags will be lowered to half-staff. Clare hung up his golf clubs at 92 years old. Retired from Transit Windsor after 41 years of service. Clare enjoyed gardening at home, Word Find puzzles and family barbeques.
If desired, donations to Brentwood Recovery Home or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
