It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Clare Sutherland, age 97 of Strathroy on August 6, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Helen Sutherland. He will be dearly missed by his children Deanne and Jack Elliott, Dolores and Jack Lamont, Beth Dougherty, Linda and Wayne Giffen, Lenor Elliott, Sandra and Jim Lockhart and Debbie Sutherland and Brad Murray. Cherished grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He will be missed by daughter in law Denise Sutherland. Predeceased by son Wayne Sutherland, son in law Bruce Elliott and great granddaughter Katie Elliott.
Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Puente at Strathmere Lodge, Sydenham Meadow for their kind and compassionate care. A special thank you to PSW Annie for all her love, care and support.
