Obituary of Claire Park
Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Auldeen (nee Dike). Loving dad of Sheila (Paul Palmer), Kelly (Carson Kramer), late Tammy and Eric (Lori). Doting grandfather of Mackenzie and Katie Kramer; Dale and Jacquie Palmer; Sabrina and Lindsay Park.
Claire was a real “Car Guy”. He was proud of his 35 year career selling cars for Paul Sadlon Motors, Dow Coffey Ford and Ab Cox. He always remembered his customers and the vehicles they bought. He made lifelong friends through the restoration of antique vehicles, restoring 2 model A’s, 37 Buick and 50 Ford Pickup. Claire was also known as the light bulb man in the Brown Field at the Barrie Automotive Flea Market, twice a year for over 20 years.
A private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford. A celebration of Claire’s life will be held once Covid restrictions are lifted.
In Claire’s memory, donations may be made to Stayner Baptist Church Building Fund or Parkinson Canada.
Online condolences may be made at www.skwarchukfuneralhome.com.
