Obituary of Christine Anne Wehlann
The family of Christine Anne Wehlann sadly announce her passing at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Deeply loved and profoundly missed by her spouse Chris Deschambeault. Also survived by her father Boyd Wehlann (Maureen) and her sister, Tracy, stepfather Jack McDowell (Betty), stepsister Laura McDowell Hinsberger, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Christine was predeceased by her mother, Marge Wehlann McDowell in 2004.
Christine was a happy, carefree person who valued her friends and family. She worked hard right out of high school until her stroke in 2015 and two ensuing heart surgeries. Always remember Christine for her hearty laugh and big smile.
Welland Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre is honoured to have been entrusted with following Christine’s wishes. Cremation has taken place, at later date she will be interred in the same plot with her mother at Pleasantview Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated by the family.
