Obituary for Christine Lorraine Gosnek
Christine Gosnek passed away suddenly on September 26, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hamilton. She was 73.
Loving sister of Jeanne Brown of Welland and Edward (Elsie) Gosnek of Niagara Falls. Dear aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Adela Gosnek of Welland, her brother Ted Gosnek of Delhi, and her sister Anne Osadac of Port Colborne.
Christine was born on May 28, 1948 in Welland Ont. After training as a RN in London Ontario, she enjoyed a long career as a dedicated health care professional, in pediatrics and day surgery. After retiring from McMaster Medical Centre, she continued to enjoy her lifelong love of travel as long as she was able. Chris made her home in Dundas where she enjoyed many friendships. For the past two years she was a valued resident of the Chartwell ‘Georgian’ on Governor’s Road.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Christine’s life will take place in the spring.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
