Obituary
Christine Ann Jackson of Rosetown passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 71.
Christine was born in Kindersley to Herb and Merle Jackson. Christine enjoyed her school years at Penner School and at 18 moved to a facility in Saskatoon and then a foster home. Neither of these placements were happy places for her. The move to Rosetown in 1974 with Wheatland Regional Center was a haven. The caregivers then and consistently throughout her 44 years there brought joy to her life. The residents in Rosetown were always welcoming and Christine loved to visit her many friends in the downtown stores. As her sister, I have always been thankful that she and our brothers have lived in such an accepting community.
Christine was preceded in death by her father Herbert, mother Merle and sister Beth. She will be dearly missed by her sister and brother-in-law Carol (Eugene) Grass of Portland, Oregon; brothers Clarke and Lorne Jackson of Rosetown and cousin Shirley Jackson of Grandora.
Service arrangements are pending and will be announced when confirmed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wheatland Regional Centre, Box 1540, Rosetown, SK S0L 2V0.
