CARTER
Chesley
December 20, 1938 – October 8, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chelsey Carter announce his peaceful passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on October 8, 2021.
Ches was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He cared deeply for his family and his church. He was also a Mason, Shriner and committed to a numerous of other things in the community that he loved doing. He always lent a helping hand when needed and never expected anything in return. Ches retired from the Post Office where he devoted over 35 years of service. In his younger years he loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family by his side. He always provided for his family and guided them the best way he knew. He loved each and every one of them unconditionally.
Ches was predeceased by his parents Willis & Elizabeth Carter; brothers: Wilf, Ken; sisters: Elvina and Edna.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Patricia Carter; children: Dan Carter (Tammy) of Gander, Michelle Davis (Albert) of Gander, Darren Carter (Tanya) of Ottawa, Peggy Doody (Alan) of St. Johns, Pam Collins (Andrew) of Gander; grandchildren: Abigail, Benjamin, Claire, Patrick, Sarah, Aaron, Alex, Aaron, Yasmin, Stephanie, Hughie; brothers: Sid carter (Amy) of Manitoba, Herb Carter (Pat) of Nova Scotia, Eric Carter of Gambo; sisters: Jean James (Dave) of Gander, Judy Oldford (Albert) of Clarenville, Maggie Speed of Alberta and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
