Obituary of Cheryl MacAskill
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden, but peaceful passing of Cheryl Ann MacAskill (Leet) at her home in Maidstone, Saskatchewan (formerly of Danville, Quebec), July 2, 2021 at the age of 71 years.
Cheryl is survived by: her husband, John; son, Jonathan (Tanya) MacAskill; she will be fondly remember by her seven grandchildren, Taylor, Corrina, SkyLynn, Sarah, Jessica, Jordyn and Sydney; and she will be sadly missed by her mother, Evelyn Davidson; siblings, Deborah (Dennis Noble) Christopher, Jennifer (Michel Plante) and Peter (Louise Bedard); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cheryl is predeceased by: her father, Milton Leet.
Cheryl worked many years for the financial institutions, then pursued a career in the courts for the Government of Alberta, until her retirement. She spent her retirement years in Maidstone, Saskatchewan.
A Private Viewing for Cheryl took place from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, July 8, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Danville, Quebec.
Donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
