Obituary
Stephens, Mary Cheryl
As a family we are deeply saddened that Cheryl succumbed to her long battle with cancer and passed away on November 07, 2021 at the Kelowna Hospice House.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Ed, son Michael and his wife Samantha, daughter Jennifer and her wife Jodell, sister Anne and her brother Brian and his wife Kathy. She was predeceased by her father Ernest McQuillan on February 25, 2010, mother Mary McQuillan on January 14, 2004, and brother Ernie McQuillan on February 4, 2021.
We have known since May that there were no more treatments available for her. With no specific timeline we all cherished every moment possible with her, making each and every memory magical. In her final days she was surrounded with love by her family and friends at her bedside allowing for her peaceful passing.
We want to thank you all in advance for the kind words and love. The family wishes to thank staff at the BC Cancer Agency, Kelowna General Hospital, Kelowna Naturopathic Clinic, and the Kelowna Hospice House who provided compassionate care in her final days.
There will be no service as per request.
Should you wish to make donations, we are asking everyone to please visit Kelowna Hospice House’s website. There is a place for donations, and the ability to share a card which will give the opportunity to write a message in memory of Cheryl.
