Obituary
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Charlotte Legarde at the Geraldton District Hospital on November 6, 2021 at the age of 96.
She is survived by Eddie Legarde (Maxine), Frances Legarde (Jerry), Susie Muckaday, Hermand Legarde, Ernest Legarde, Ivan Legarde, Vanessa Legarde (Frank Taylor) and Dionne Legarde (Jeanine Waboose). She will be dearly missed by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, William Legarde, her son Mervin Legarde, her daughter-in-law Arlene Legarde, her grandsons Pernell Chapais and Merrill Bouchard, her granddaughters Rae Towegishig and Jessica Bouchard and her parents John and Marie Mendowegon.
Charlotte loved the old way of life, she was known for her love of fishing, hunting, trapping, picking cones and spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for Bingo where she enjoyed meeting up with friends and family and always had hope for that Big Win. She a heart of gold for everyone she met, always giving big hugs and kisses. She will be forever missed by her community and surrounding communities.
Her family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Geraldton District Hospital for their compassionate care.
Due to COVID a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
