Charles David (Charlie) Chaisson

We regret to announce the peaceful passing of Charles David Chiasson, 84, on Monday, September 27, 2021, at home in Sugar Loaf.
Born in Dingwall on March 18, 1937, he was the son of the late David and Katherine (Burton) Chiasson.
Charlie started working in the car business at a young age, and quickly worked his way up to becoming a car dealer, owning many dealerships before retiring.
He then moved to his childhood home in Sugar Loaf, opening and operating Cabot Trail Home and Auto for 22 years before retiring.
Charlie is survived by his sons Bruce and Dale, his partner of 50 years Mavis, and her daughter Charlene (Melton) Dixon, grandchildren Mary (Shane) Briand and Matthew (Rafaella) Dixon, two great-grandsons Patrick and Richard Briand and sister-in-law Ann Chaisson.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Zephron, John, Leo and a daughter, Sandra.
