Obituary of Charles Wayne Jennex, New Victoria/Maragree
It is with great sadness the family of Charles Wayne Jennex of New Victoria announces his passing August 10, 2021 at his residence in Upper Margaree.
Born in New Waterford, Charles was the son of the late Clarence and Sara (Fraser) Jennex. Charles was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He truly enjoyed camping with his family, watching classic westerns, listening to his favourite singers and tinkering around cars. Charles was always welcoming, sociable and a great host when you’d visit his home; always happy with a great sense of humor.
He will be forever be missed by his long-time partner, Mary McNeil, Upper Margaree; son, Wallace Blair (Rosie), Scotchtown; daughters, Charlotte Anne, Saskatchewan, Lana Marie (Dave) Campbell, Dartmouth; brothers, Conrad (Phillis), Winston, John, Blair (Joan), Earl, Gregory (Judy), Glen (Tara); sisters, Faye, Mary, Eleanor (Bert), Virginia, Sandra Lynn (Eric); grandchildren, Tylor, Justin, Travis, Brittany, Christine, Charles, Stephanie, Ashley, Jeremy, Joanie and 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Clarence Provest, William Angus; sisters, Sara May, Hilda Madeline.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Due to pandemic regulations, a private funeral service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, New Waterford.
