Charles Oliver Chuck Gorrigan 1945 2021

Obituary of Charles Oliver Gorrigan
January 1, 1945 – October 1, 2021
With sadness the family of Chuck Gorrigan announce his passing on October 1, 2021, at the age of 76.
Chuck was born in Armstrong, B.C., and lived many places before finally settling in Blue River, B.C., to raise his family. He loved to fish and spent a lot of time traveling the forest service roads off Highway 5 looking for the next best fishing hole. After the kids were grown and gone, he continued to return to Blue River and lived there many years with Bev Orgnacco and his dog Peppy, it was the place Chuck called “home.” He had a great sense of humor, making others laugh was his legacy. He was an ardent supporter of the Legion, being a continuous member, in different roles, for 46 years and travelling for many gavel passings. There will be no service, but the family will honor Chuck’s wishes to spread his ashes at his favorite fishing lake, near Blue River, next spring.
Charles is survived by his son Gerry (Cheryl) Gorrigan, daughter Melody (Mark) Kuystermans, their mother Terry Luxton, nine grandchildren: Justin (Simone) Peters, Carissa (Chris) Strain, Dilon Gorrigan, Shannon (Si Mun) Tang, Aaron (Jasmine) Caouette, Gwendolyn & Rosie Caouette, Brittany & Bradley Gorrigan, and three great grandchildren: Harliquinn & Delaynee Strain and Tiernee Ramsay-Peters.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
