Died peacefully on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Bay Haven Senior Care Community, Collingwood at the age of 87. Peace of Collingwood, beloved husband of the late Audrey (nee Steffler) (2005). Loving father of Heather Hogg and Debbie (Leo Peverill). Cherished grandfather of Nathan and Brandon Hogg and Presley Steffler and great grandfather of Grace, Raylon, Khloe and Malakai. Peace is survived by sister Diane (Ray Stacey), brothers Dave (Frankie) and John (Bonnie) and sisters-in-law Jean and Jewell. He is predeceased by siblings Bill (Pearl), Margaret (John Caskie), Don, Doris (Jim Keith), Jim and Janet (Gary Richmond). Peace had a great sense of humour, he made friends easily. He loved to spend time fishing, gaming and enjoyed training, owning and betting on race horses. He was a skilled welder who spent many years at the Shipyards and LOF. He will be missed. Private family services with interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A public celebration will be held when public health regulations permit. If desired, a donation to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.   1. Peace was a great neighbor and was always kind and generous! I remember building a treehouse in his backyard with his grandsons Nathan and Brandon! He also helped us out when we caught skunks underneath our house and needed to find a place to rehouse them! Any day I saw him out front working on his lawn we’d take a break from what we were doing to have a conversation! We’ll always have fond memories of Peace and to the Hogg family I’m deeply sorry for your loss
