We are sad to announce the passing of Charlie Madely on November 13, 2021 at Hospice Peterborough with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Carole Madely for 64 years. Dear father of Diane Clark, Liz Gremer (Steve) and the late Sharon McDonald (the late Andy). Cherished Grandpa of Geoff Clark (Melanie), Chris Clark (Ally), Sara Whiteman (Will), Jim McDonald and Jennifer Parada. Special Poppa of Julia and Ethan Clark, Millie and Timothy Clark, Ryder and Octavia Whiteman, and Romeo and Matteo Parada. Dear brother of Patricia Chaikoff.
Charlie was a technical sales representative for Mechanical Advertising for 25 years and was involved with the Peterborough Sales & Ad Club for many years.
Visitation for Charlie and for Carole, who passed away April 26, 2021, will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 on Saturday November 27 at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. Proof of double vaccination and photo identification is required.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held later at the time of interment.
If desired, donations in Charlie’s memory can be made to Hospice Peterborough, Peterborough Regional Hospital Centre or the MS Society.

We couldn’t have known a more beautiful family than Charlie and Carole Madely and their three children, Diane, Sharon, and Liz. We will miss Charlie, Carole and Sharon for as long as we live. Feel blessed to call them “our best friends” for 65 years. Diane and Liz you’re in our thought and prayers.
