Died suddenly on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 58. Charlie of Wasaga Beach , beloved husband of Katrina with whom they are expecting a baby boy in August. Dear father of Joseph Weise and his wife Michelle. Dear grandfather of Emerest, Ella and Adaline. Loving son of June (Gerry Loche) and the late Charles Dickieson. Dear brother of Betty Murphy. Charlie was predeceased by his partner Margaret Cando (2012). Charlie was a kind and nurturing man with a great sense of humour. He enjoyed fishing and golfing when he could and loved hockey, whether as a coach, player or as a diehard fan of the Boston Bruins. Charlie was a longtime associate at Honda Canada. He will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel on Friday May 7, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. You must utilize the RSVP tab on the funeral home website to schedule your arrival time as space is limited due to public health restrictions. The family will gather for a private Memorial Service on Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2 o’clock. The ceremony will be available to view on the Carruthers & Davidson YouTube channel.
