Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Charles John Williams, which occurred on Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Saint John, N.B, on January 14, 1948, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Daley) Williams.
Charlie worked for International Labourers Local 900 on many industrial and commercial sites in the area. I’m his retirement years, Charlie enjoyed travelling across Canada, hunting, and fishing, with his dog by his side.
Charles is survived by his sister Shirley Bruster (Hollis); nieces and nephews Sandra and Joseph Blue, Harvey Doucette, Ronnie Woods, Charles and Ann Williams, Margie Dean, Joanne Lewis, Eleanor “Sis” Dempster, Mary Adams, Douglas Golding, Richard and Steven Bruster, as well as extended family across Canada.
Aside from his parents, Charles is predeceased by his brother Joseph Williams and his sisters Eva Blue and Eleanor Golding.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, N.B. (646-2424). A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel. For those who wish, donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Saint John Animal Rescue League.
