We sadly announce the passing of Geoff Clarke, former owner and mechanic of Mill Bay Garage and of Clarke’s Frontier Shoppe (hunting and fishing equipment) of Shawnigan Lake, BC, HAM operator VE7GXA, father, grandfather, great-grandfather.
Geoff lived an impressively full 76 years in Montreal, Sarnia, Vancouver, Victoria, Shawnigan Lake, Nelson, Orangeville, Niagara Falls, Penticton, Chemainus, Oliver, and Duncan. He was an avid HAM operator who worked proudly with Search and Rescue and the Ironman competition, and loved photography, hunting, riding his Harleys, wildlife, woodworking, playing guitar, collecting and repairing antique clocks, and building computers and radios. He renovated several homes and threw countless dinner parties with his wife Annette. He had a passionate sense of adventure, and even in his final days was talking of new lands to explore.
He joins his soul-mate Annette, and son Geoffrey.
He leaves to mourn daughter Linda (Wayne), grandchildren Philip, Alex, Vanessa, Giulia, and Cameron, great-granddaughter Ava, sister Judy, brother-in-law Bill (Lise), life-longfriends Don of Colwood and Ken of Victoria, Penticton friends Rose and Colin, Leanne and Al, and members of the Penticton Amateur Radio Club.
Heartfelt appreciation to CDH, Sunridge Place and McKinney Place for compassionate, respectful care, and to family and friends for their love and prayers.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Charles Geoffrey Clarke July 2 1944
