It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ernest Spray of Miramichi, NB, who passed away on September 25, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife Rose (Duke), his children Cheryl Richard (Scott), Shane Spray (Robyn), Pamela Fletcher (Christian), grandchildren Bret Richard, Rachel Fletcher and Chase Spray, his sister Mary Cripps (Bobby Manuel) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father William Spray (England) and Mother Alicia (Fairman) of Douglastown, NB and his siblings, Helen Spray, Patricia Arnold (Glen), Jean Arsenault (Andrew), William Spray (Carole), David Spray (Peggy) and Margaret Matchett (Merrill).
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 30, 2021 from 4pm – 8pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday October 1, 2021 at 11:00am at Saint Michael’s Basilica. Burial will follow at Saint Michael’s Basilica Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Extra Mural nurses, Hospice Miramichi, our family and friends for allowing us to spend Charles’ special last days peacefully at home.
