Charlene’s Obituary
Belisle (Greeno) Charlene Ann ~ age 55 of Greenwood passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Keith Greeno and the late Bertha “Bubbles” (Cunningham) Greeno. Charlene was kindhearted and friendly with a bold sense of humour. She had a passion for business with an excellent work ethic and great customer service skills. These qualities served her well as manager of the Ultramar in Greenwood and more so when Charlene later purchased and became owner of the Corner Store portion of the Ultramar. She continued working in both positions there until her passing. Charlene had a beautiful smile that would light up a room, she loved animals and the outdoors, enjoying camping and fishing. Her greatest love though was her family and being a wife and mother. Charlene will be sadly missed by husband, Troy; daughter, Caitlyn; her father, Keith; sister, Heather (John) Moore; nephews, Johnny and Keith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lorne and Cathy Urquhart, Fletchers Lake, NS; sister-in-law, Angela (Dave) Lovitt, BC; brother-in-law, Lance Belisle, Halifax. In keeping with Charlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Charlene’s memory may be made to any animal charity of your choice.
