Celestine’s Obituary
Celestine (Celeste) Cecelia Langevin age 93 passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021 in Fairview, Alberta. She was born in Waterhole, Alberta on September 18, 1928 to parents Frank and Monica Dettling.
Celeste lived most of her life in St. Albert, Alberta where she raised four sons. Denis (Yolanda), James (Rose Anne), Robert (Jaon), and Gerald (Deborah).She is survived by her sons, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and as well as numerous family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank & Monica Dettling and as well as 1 grandson, Carlos Langevin.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. Celeste loved cooking and travelling. She was a life-time member of the Catholic Women’s League.
A Private funeral Mass will be held from St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Fairview on Thursday October 14 at 1:00 PM.
