1929-2021
Cécile Bastarache, 91, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away
peacefully at the Stella Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent,
on Saturday May 8, 2021. She was married to the late Hervé
Bastarache (1973). Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter
of the late Frederick and the late Elise (Léger) LeBlanc.
She will be dearly missed by her four children; Janice Despres
(Bernard), Lise Saulnier (Danny) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Pauline
LeBlanc (Valerie) of Lower Sackville, NS, Rhéal (Anne-Marie) of
Saint-Charles, her three grandchildren; Denis, Lynn, Sylvie and two
great grandchildren; Parker and Liam. She also leaves to mourn her
two sisters; Jeanne Bastarache of Saint-Maurice, Aline Cormier of
Bouctouche, her two brothers; Ulysse of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Normand
(Iona) of Saint-Paul as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three sisters; Irène, Imelda and Anna and
two brothers; Edgar and Eric.
Due to the covid 19 pandemic restrictions, there will be a private
visitation and a private funeral service held at a later date.
Interment will be at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
