Obituary of Cathy Martin
Cathy Marie Martin (nee Curley)
Cathy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Stedman Community Hospice on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021, in her 70th year. Predeceased by her husband Rodger McIver. Cathy is the loving mother of Billie (Ron) and caring grandmother to Kayleigh, Brody and Tom. Cathy is survived by her sister Joanne (Walt). Cathy has gone to heaven to join her parents Eric and Frances, brothers; Danny (Yvonne), Brian and Tim (Nancy). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Mom fought a courageous battle with cancer but that never stopped her from doing what she loved. Mom loved her weekly bingo trips with her sister Joanne and her time spent with her children and grandchildren. She lived life by her own terms and loved her family more than anything. The family extends a great gratitude to the dedicated and caring staff and volunteers of the Stedman Community Hospice. We truly appreciate the care that you provided for her. At Cathy’s request a private family service will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue. Donations can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice in Cathy’s memory. “There are no good-byes wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts”.
A tree will be planted in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest in memory of Cathy.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Cathy
