Obituary of Catherine Harris
Catherine “Kitty” Harris (née Kelly), 88, of Alexandria, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 28 at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital.
Kitty was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Margaret (née Timlin) and Thomas Kelly on December 28, 1932. She grew up with her sisters Peggy†, Doreen†, Estelle, Rose, Veronica† and her brother Kenny†. Kitty then raised her three children with her late husband Reginald Harris in St. Hubert, Quebec.
Kitty leaves behind her children, Colleen, Glenn, and Norman (Chanda), her sisters Estelle and Rosie, her grandchildren Glenn Jr. (Melissa), Scott, Kenny, Reggie, Jesse (Anaël), and Cody, her many beloved nephews and nieces, and her great-grandchild Isaac.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Chateau Glengarry Retirement Home and the Glengarry Memorial Hospital care team for the exceptional care provided.
A Celebration of life will be held to commemorate Kitty’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion in St. Hubert, Quebec, on September 11, 2021, from 13:00-16:00.
Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
