Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on November 15, 2021 Catherine (Kay) Cleary (nee Kirby) age 93. Predeceased by her loving husband Jerome; sons: Shannon and Paul; grandchildren: Dawn and Sean; parents: John and Josephine; siblings: Joan, Barney and David.
Leaving to celebrate her life and cherished memories son Glenn (Elaine); daughter Anne (Peter White) with whom she resided for 23 years; brother Edward (Mary); grandchildren: Holly (Nelson), Paul, Lori, Richard (Jennifer), Kathleen and Julia; six great-grandsons; and one great great-granddaughter; Shannon’s wife Elizabeth; Dawn’s husband Albert Mannard; also many relatives and friends. Special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, especially 2 South, for their compassion and care over the past two years. The family would also like to thank Mom’s many friends at St. Patrick’s for their kindness and friendship.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Thursday, November 18, from 2pm -7pm. Funeral mass to take place from Corpus Christi Church on Friday, November 19 at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom’s memory can be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation or VOWR.
