Obituary of Carolyn Louise Marshall
Carolyn Louise Marshall, 93 of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2021 in Blomidon Court – Shannex. She was the only child of the late Aubrey and Helen (Mason) Marshall of Faulkland Ridge.
Carolyn received her education in Faulkland Ridge, Queen Elizabeth High School, Halifax and Kings University in Halifax. Having enjoyed teaching in Branksome Hall in Toronto, ON; and some schools in the Halifax area, she eventually retired. After her retirement, Carolyn spent many hours visiting and driving senior citizens. She was an extremely generous person, helping her friends whenever and however she could.
Her loves in life were animals (particularly cats), reading, gardening, sharing books with children, and having tea with her friends in her teepee.
Carolyn was extremely grateful for all the kindness shown to her throughout the years by family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her cousin, Donald (Sandra) Kempton; as well as other cousins in Canada and the United States.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Blomidon Court for their excellent care during the last two years of Carolyn’s life.
In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no funeral service; however, a burial will take place in the Faulkland Ridge Cemetery at a later date. As a final farewell to Carolyn, plant a tree, have a picnic, or donate to a children’s charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
