Carolyn June Burtt 1945 2021

Carolyn Burtt, 76 of Wakefield, NB passed away peacefully in
her sleep Wed Oct 13, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, NB on June
13, 1945 to the late Tracey and Catherine (Darroch) Schriver. She
lived many years on military base Shannon Park, NS and was an active
volunteer in the Shannon/Heights community. She raised her family, and
after her husband retired from the Navy they returned to Wakefield, NB
where she then worked as an LPN at Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB. She
loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her little dog
Twit. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children
MaryBeth Schroeder(Doug) Fredericton, NB, Wayne Tracey Edwin
Burtt(Joanne) Woodstock, NB and her 3 grandchildren Patric Schroeder,
Evan & Leah Burtt as well as a sister Elizabeth Knowles,
brothers Danny(Dorothy), Ron(Charlene) and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Wayne C. Burtt; a sister, Mary;
brothers, Tracey Jr., Eldon, Owen, Winston and Carle. Her remains have
been entrusted to the Carleton Funeral Home,
Jacksonville, NB. Cremation has taken place and a
memorial service and a private family internment will occur at a later
date at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society or
the Diabetic Association.
