Obituary of Carol Wright
Carol passed away peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on November 18, 2021. Born on February 25, 1938, Carolyn Roberta Wright (née Breadner) of Owen Sound, was in her 84th year.
Predeceased by her husband Jack Wright (’91) and second husband Fred Wright (’17). Loving mother of Debbie Gillen (Doug) of Owen Sound, Ryan Wright (Florence) of Owen Sound and Darron Wright (Francelina) of Kitchener. Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Dawn), Derek, Lindsey (Ryan), David (Erin), Nicole (Manny), Marlon (Tabitha), Brandon (Quinn), and numerous great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Maurice Breadner (Maureen Low), and sister-in-law of Laverne Moore (Gene) and Betty Baird (Doug). Also missed by Fred’s children Sharon (Jim), Gord, Jack, Fred (Jo-Ann), Danny, Gary (Karen), Lois (Scott), Joe and Angus.
Predeceased by her children Farron and Diane Wright, parents Ruby and Robert Breadner, twin sister Marilyn Breadner, and by her siblings-in-law Shirley Stewart (Ken), Dolly Robinson (Fred) and June Wright.
Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All attending the visitation must wear a mask and have proof of double covid vaccination. A private funeral service will follow and although it is private, a video recording will be posted to Carol’s memorial webpage shortly thereafter. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
