Caroline “Carrie” MacQuarrie
1956-2021
Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 of Caroline “Carrie”
MacQuarrie of Rustico age 65 years.
Beloved wife of Walter and dear mother of Floyd (deceased),
Elaine Duffy (Shawn) and Jason. Loving and proud Nan to Victoria
MacQuarrie, Stephanie MacQuarrie, Merayla Doyle, James Duffy, Morgan
Doyle, Shauntae Dunsford, Mason Doyle, Devon Duffy, Nicole Tompkins,
Logan MacQuarrie, Lucas MacQuarrie, Chase Tompkins, and Great Nan to
Isabelle and Samara. Carrie will also be sadly missed by her sisters
Charlene Gavin, Wanda Henry (Percy), Rose Dennis (Vernon deceased),
many nieces and nephews and her fur baby Cuddles. She was predeceased
by her parents Cecil Gavin and Stella Shea, Brother Harold and brother
Floyd in infancy and father and mother-in-law Charles and Minnie
MacQuarrie.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral
Home. Carrie’s funeral mass will be celebrated at St.
Augustine’s Church, Rustico on Wednesday, November
3rd at 10:30 a.m. by invitation.
