Caroline’s Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28th, 2021 Caroline Benoit, at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn with many loving memories: sons: Bernard (Marjorie), Phillip (Rita), Arnold (Jeanette), Thomas (Grace), and Richard (Vanessa); daughters: Leila (Jim) Kerfont, Valetta Smith, Orena Campbell, Lorraine (Perry) Hillier, Nancy (Gord) Ellis, and Paula Benoit (Bill); brothers: Douglas Simon, Phillip (Doreen) Simon, and Dave (Marina) Young; sisters: Eileen Morris, Marjorie Gallant and Janet Rouzes; sister in law Stella Simon; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Caroline was predeceased by: husband Isaac Thomas Benoit; husband John Battiste Benoit; sons: Basil and Ignatius; parents Phillip and Matilda (nee Cornect) Simon; and brothers: Leo Paul Simon and Pius Simon.
The visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Cape, Cape St. George, on Monday, February 1st from 7-9 PM. From where the funeral service will also be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at the Catholic Cemetery, Marches Point.
As expressions of sympathy donations in Caroline’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
