Obituary of Carol Davey (nee Styles)
DAVEY, Carol (née Styles) – Of St. Thomas, passed away at her residence, Caressant Care on Bonnie Place on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in her 84th year. Beloved wife for almost 61 years to the late Robert H. “Bob” Davey (2018). Mother of Wade Davey (Vera) of Sparta, and Craig Davey (Julie) of St. Thomas. Grandmother of Tanya, Joshua, Jacob, Carly (Nathen), Lauren, and Matthew Davey. Sister-in-law of of Kay and Bob Lethbridge of Fingal and the late Joan Davey. Born in St. Thomas, ON, November 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Donald F. Styles and the late Madeline (née Couse) Rapelje. Carol and her late husband Bob formerly owned and operated Elite Fashions, and later Goliger’s Travel Plus, St. Thomas. She was a member of St. Thomas Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and was a former volunteer with Christmas Care, St. Thomas. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at South Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
