BLETSOE, Carol (nee Annand) (Co-owner of Foodland Lakefield)
Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough with her family by her side on Monday, August 9, 2021 in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Ross for over 52 years. Loving mother of Erica Bletsoe and her husband Jonathan Bowen and Ian Bletsoe and his wife Sarah. Cherished grandmother of Kaiden, Keira, and Violet. Dear sister of the late Judith Miller. Carol was a “city girl” but her proudest happiest times were at the farm “Manor Brae” in Selwyn. She grew herbs and vegetables for resale at the family supermarket. Her beloved dogs Shelby and Abigail roamed freely over the acreage and accompanied her everywhere. Her grandchildren were the “Apple of her Eye” and she beamed brightly whenever she was with them. To the Medical and Volunteer staff at Hospice Peterborough…you are the most caring, kind and thoughtful people in the world and the family thanks you for taking such great care of Carol during her final days. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd Peterborough on Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Covid 19 restrictions are in place and face coverings are mandatory. Funeral service will be held at on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE AT 11:00 AM. Due to covid 19 space is limited.
