Carol Angelita McNab
On May 19, 2021, Carol Angelita McNab retired from this life. Born in Vancouver on August 28, 1957, she was the eldest daughter of Herbert (deceased) and Eileen McNab (née Hillcox) and the oldest sibling to Grace (Bruce), Joy (Nobi), Tim (Deb), Kay, and Ann.
Carol led a very quiet, unassuming life but always took time to think of others. She had a gentle spirit and was a generous soul who loved starting on Boxing Day to prepare for the following Christmas. She enjoyed nothing more than spoiling her nieces, nephews, grand niece, and grand nephews with lavish gifts for all occasions. In her quiet time, she loved puzzles, birds, gardening, children, and pets and always had a craft project on the go as she watched her favourite sports teams on television. In younger years, Carol loved to play the piano & organ, sing in the choir, babysit, and volunteer in nurseries. While educated as a bookkeeper, Carol chose instead to seek employment in jobs that interacted more with people and combined her love of shopping with her passion for cooking by most recently working in a few grocery stores. She was a connoisseur of flavours which tantalized the palate and loved to introduce others to each new taste.
Enjoy your retirement, Carol, where the love you send out will be returned in the purest form and you’ll sing because you’re happy & free from the cares of this world.
Due to current pandemic restrictions, a private graveside memorial will be held at the Maple Ridge Cemetery by Hulse Playfair & McGarry of Winchester.
