Obituary
Carmen Therese Estelle Bauder (nee Marchildon)
May 9th, 1947 – Sept 27th, 2021
Carmen was born into a larger family in Timmons, Ontario to Leone and Thomas Marchildon.
Carmen resided with her husband Larry (of 44 years) in Gimli, Manitoba after moving out here from Edmonton, Alberta.
She is survived by her husband Larry of Gimli, 4 grandchildren: Matthew, Megan (Cory), Tyler and Ryan, 2 great-grandchildren, and her 2 dogs. Carmen was predeceased by her daughter Lise (58) and 4 of her siblings.
She worked at the Oldie hotel in Gimli as a cook, loved to bake, and played on the dart league at the Legion with her husband. She loved animals and had plenty over the years. She was called friend by many and auntie by their children and was willing to help anyone out. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and care staff at Arborg, St Boniface and Gimli Hospitals for all the care and comfort in her final days.
A private family viewing took place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Care in Carmen’s name.
