Obituary for
Carmela Serafini
Serafini, Carmela – The family of Carmela (Mary) Serafini are sad to announce her passing on January 13th, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband Ado Serafini (March 1997) and her siblings Frances Favero, Marcel D’Amico and Joanne Fortin.
She leaves behind her son Ted Serafini (Colleen) and Gary Serafini (Donna) as well as her grandchildren Michael, James, Paul, Victoria, Natalie, and great granddaughter Amelia.
Always kind and cheerful, she enjoyed a long life and was blessed with many friendships, both old and new. She appreciated help from those friends and her neighbours who ensured she had company and was not in need of anything, whether it was a ride to the doctor, clearing snow from the driveway, or bringing a meal. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
A private graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
