It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmela De Pasquale, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at the age of 94. Loving wife to the late Antonio De Pasquale. Her kind and gentle spirit will be remembered by her children Francesco (Rosa), Aldo (Maria), Bruno, Michael, and Maria (Steve) Gallant. She has joined her adored daughter Lina (Jim) George and treasured son Giuseppe (Rosa) in heaven. Cherished Nonna of 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren all of whom she loved and cared for deeply.Throughout her life she remained grounded in her Catholic faith accepting with courage and humour, life at its fullest. Immigrating to Canada to give a better life to her children, she will forever live on through her family and the precious memories she leaves behind. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Monday, September 13th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Vigil prayers will take place at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, Corpus Christi site on Tuesday September 14th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
