Obituary of Carl Dyke
Dyke, Carl – passed away in his 95th year on Thursday April 1, 2021 at the Port Colborne General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Donna. He is survived by his sisters Evelyn Bitner and Shirley Kadwell and his many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his step daughter Donna Patricia Jacobson and her husband Gary, his grandchildren Kim, Shelley, Ryan and Brenda, his great granddaughter Bryn and his step son Roy. Carl was predeceased by his sisters Muriel Madere, Eleanor Coutu and Ruth Kanen, his step son Ron and his grandson Christopher. Carl enjoyed his career as a welder for many years before retiring from Oskam Steele. After retirement he and Donna enjoyed their time together while bowling and travelling across Canada in their RV with their beloved dog Buffy. Carl had a passion for photography and was a proud member of a photography group, often using pictures of his family for practice. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. Memorial remembrances to The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
