Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the
age of 60 years. Candy was born to Milton and Caroline Jory of
Toronto. She was the proud and loving mother of Darcy (Emanuel) and
Taylor. She is fondly remembered by her long-time companion Daniel
Servant, her sister Jackie Storms, her nieces Jenn, Amanda and Ashley,
granddaughter Danielle and a host of friends and extended
family.
Candy was the founder of The Other Delivery Service, which
recently passed its 30th anniversary. She went
to Havergal College for high school, then attended the University of
Guelph. There will be a public visitation between 12
– 2 p.m. at GILCHRIST CHAPEL
– McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street,
Guelph on Sunday, October 24 and an informal
service by invitation at 2:30 p.m. Please note that you must phone the
funeral home at 519-824-0031 to receive a visitation time slot and
provide your name and phone number for contact tracing due to Covid-19
protocols. Masks are required inside the funeral home at all times. We
ask that you do not visit if feeling unwell or have been in contact
with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19. If desired,
memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
1-800-268-8874.
