Mrs. Candiss Smeenk
At Victoria Hospital, London, on Friday February 12th, 2021, Mrs. Candiss Smeenk of Thamesville passed away in her 55th year. Cherished daughter of Madeline Moss (the late Gordon). Beloved wife of Rick. Loving mother of Connor (Nicole) of Mount Bridges, and Griffin (Ricky) of Thamesville. Dear sister of Christin Moss (John Hierlihy), and Caresse LeBlanc (Chris). Predeceased by her brother Cameron Moss. Candiss was a loving mother, wife, and daughter. She dedicated her career to serving the elderly and was passionate about her work. Candiss’ idea of a perfect day would be spent beside the pool surrounded by family and friends. Candiss loved to travel, to shop, and to laugh. Candiss was known for her sharp wit and sense of humour, as well as her care and compassion for the important people in her life. Friends wishing to pay their respects to Candiss are invited to call the funeral home in advance to reserve a time on Tuesday February 16th, 2021 with visiting from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must schedule your visitation time in advance. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. The funeral service for Candiss will be streamed live from the funeral home on Wednesday February 17th at 1 pm.
