1949-2021
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of
Byron Walter Embree, age 72, of
Lorneville, NS. Byron passed away at the Cumberland Regional
Health Care Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the late Lester and
Gweneth (Jackson) Embree.
Byron will be missed by his three children, Lisa Hawkins
(Jaime) of Calgary, AB, Julie Rooney (Mark) of Saint John, NB and
Dylan Embree of London, ON; his three grandchildren, Morgan, Maddox
and Lennox; his three sisters, Donna Crabtree (Duart) of Ottawa, ON,
Mary Livesey (Tom) of Pickering, ON and Jackie Schulten (Carl) of
Maryland, USA; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
across the country.
Byron is predeceased by his infant brother, Roderick, as well
as his sister, Evelyn Torgerson of Whitehorse,
YK.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
Street, Amherst (902-667-8777) where cremation has taken place. A
Service of Remembrance will be held in the future when family can
travel, followed by interment in the Lorneville
Cemetery.
If wished, donations in memory of Byron may be made to the
charity of your choice.
